The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) successfully confronted a desperate attempt by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its terror-driven allies from the former regime this morning in the northern part of Khartoum North, as they hopelessly attempted to cross the Halfaya Bridge toward the city of Bahri. Well-prepared and vigilant, our courageous forces demonstrated exceptional courage and devotion.
The RSF successfully repelled the SAF and its extremist allied militias, downing an Ababil aircraft acting as their air support. We also shot down seven drones.
The enemy suffered significant losses, with more than 500 personnel killed. We destroyed two tanks and seized numerous military combat vehicles and large quantities of weapons and ammunition, which are now being counted and sorted.
The valor of our soldiers was crucial in thwarting the efforts of the SAF and its terrorist minders from the National Congress Party. The defeated enemy forces ran away as usual in humiliation and disappointment. Despite their make-believe stories of battlefield heroics, they remain haunted by their own dismal failure.
Meanwhile, our brave forces have maintained control over the entire state of Khartoum for over a year. Our full control over the capital is inevitable, as we dismantle this gang from the former regime and consign them to the dustbin of history.
